Over four sessions we will explore the mechanisms of anxiety, how it works and what it does. Through group hypnosis I will demonstrate how you can control it and provide you with the tools to go forward with your life without the steady background noise of anxiety holding you back.
We will explore the mechanisms behind anxiety; the chemistry and brain structures involved, and how our actions and behaviours can change them to our benefit. I will also explain hypnosis and how it can accelerate learning and change.
Through guided hypnosis we will begin our journey to instil in you a sense of relaxation that can be with you in your daily life.
We will build on what we achieved in Session One by using hypnosis to create a framework for Sessions 3 and 4
We will explore a tried and tested Stress Coping Strategy, resulting in a tool that can be used to arrest that feeling of being overwhemed by the wave of Anxiety that we feel during the onset of panic.
Becasue it is not practical to sit down and hypnotise ourselves whenever we are confronted with imminent panic, it is important that we are able to utlise the skills we learn on this course without the need for formal hypnosis, and so in our final session we will consolidate everything that we've learned in the previous 3 sessions, and develop the skills that enable you to use what you've learned "in vivo" - as we go about our daily lives.

Quit smoking with the help of my group Hypnotherapy for smoking(*). With 5 sessions over the course of 2 weeks, through group discussion and hypnosis, you will address some of the emotional and behavioural changes required to give up smoking for good. With the support of the group environment there is a chance to meet others who share your commitment to the future health and financial benefits of goving up smoking, not to mention the self-esteem and self-confidence that comes with having achieved the freedom that comes from being a non-smoker.
(*)The law requires me to tell you that willpower will be required. Hypnotherapy is highly effective with smoking cessation. Relapses are rare, and where they happen there are usually underlying issues that require addressing via 1-2-1 therapy.

What happens when you smoke? Why do you smoke? We explore the process of addiction with respect to smoking and nicotine; how the conscous and subconcious brain reacts when we are addicted and how we can use Hypnotherapy to break the cycle.
Group hypnosis is used to begin our healing journey to being a non-smoker
You will build on the first session with continued relaxation techniques and group hypnosis. After this session you will stop smoking, and become a non-smoker.
We will address withdrawal and the feelings and emotions that come with it.
We will intriduce some Neurolinguisitic Programming techniques to instll your new identity as a non-smoker, and to learn some techniques to cope with any cravings you might be experiencing.
Our final session will address any residual withdrawal feelings and reinforce through group hypnosis your new status as a non-smoker.

Before the weekend begins, use my guided Relaxation hour to unwind, shed the negative tension of the week, and start the weekend fully relaxed and recharged.
