Yes, and yes!  Online hypnotherapy is commonplace now, and the therapy is just as effective.  I can provide therapy online using Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Facetime.

Anyone can enter an altered state of awareness, or trance.  Have you ever noticed that feeling just before you fall asleep?  Or have you ever arrived at a destination and not rememberd how you got there?  These are natural states of hypnosis that we all experience daily.

The aim of hypnotherapy is not to put someone to sleep, although it can happen.  This does not detract from the effectiveness of the therapy though.  The brain is not switched off during sleep and is still aware - have you ever been woken by a noise or lightning?  The brain still registers sensory input even when asleep.

Yes.  You will reamin fully aware during the session and will remember everything.  We will discuss it at the end of each session.

Yes.  It is important to note that this is clinical hypnotherapy and not stage hypnosis and you cannot be made to do anything against your will.  Only a very small proportion of the population can enter a trance deep enough for stage hypnosis, and even those are still in control and could lift themselves out of the trance whenever they wish.

It certainly does work, it is backed up by research, and there are many documented cases where it has been proven to have benefited clients for a whole range of issues.  My commitment to you is to facilitate the change that you need in order to achieve the outcome that you require.  There are no guarantees in any therapeutic scenario and progress and resolution is very much dependent on how well we work together and how fully you engage with the process.
