About Me
My Story
My name is Patrick Collins and have lived in Horsham, West Sussex for more than 30 years, and in 2023 started offering Hypnotherapy in Horsham as well as Hypnotherpay online. I have a PhD in Astrophysics, and am an Engineering professional. Being a parent of a child with anxiety, OCD and ADHD and another that suffered eating disorders in early teens, I learned how powerful and effective Hypnotherapy could be, but at the time didn't give it more thought beyond gratitude that it worked for them. I was far too busy trying to "get on" at work. Having worked my way up to the board of Directors of a company that was then bought by Private Equity investors, I learned first-hand about burn-out and high-level, functioning anxiety and In 2020 during the first Covid lockdown I suffered a heart attack and vowed to find a new way.
I remembered about how, all that time ago, hypnotherapy helped my family and so I retrained with the Surrey College of Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy, a fantastic programme covering not only Hypnotherapy but Solution Focussed Therapy, CBT, NLP, Rapid Transformational Therapy, positive psychology, EFT and EMDR. I chose the SCCP because it teaches so much more than hypnotherapy, which has given me a range of tools in my toolbox when confronted with the wide variety of psychological issues that can stop us from making the most out of life. In short, with me, you are getting much more than a hypnotherapist!
